For us, when it comes to farming, the plantibilities are truly endless. What used to be mainstay Minnesota field crops might not make much sense in today’s environmental landscape, and that’s okay. We believe in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible by planting alternative crops, focusing on diversity and sustainability rather than sticking to the traditional crops of the past. Whether it’s hemp, ancient grains, or other organic alternatives, we choose crops that challenge the status quo, offering healthier options and contributing to the resilience of our land.

Welcome to Rookie Farmers, a family-owned and operated farm nestled in the heart of Kimball, Minnesota. While we may be new to some, our passion for the land runs deep, as we’re building on the foundation laid by generations before us. At Rookie Farmers, we focus on regenerative farming, a practice that goes beyond sustainability, restoring the land and ensuring it remains fertile and vibrant for future generations.
We keep our farming in the family, but we share the fruits the Rookie Farmers fields by way of our other home-grown business, Green Fox Companies. The green way in which we farm translates directly to a planet-friendly harvest, where we sustainably package and minimally process our wholesome Goods, and responsibly transform the rest of the plant into innovative Products that offer hope for the future of our planet.
